If one plays the Tenor and a Trumpet, does that make them Dave Douglas (tp) and Joe Lovano (tr)?
One may get a hat. Each musician has soundprints, or an identifiable set of unique characteristics with regards to sound, musicianship (melodic choice, space, volume, changes in timbre), and technique.
