For not that much more than the famous Logitech Squeezebox Touch ($299.00 USD), one upgrades from streaming 24/192 (with software patch) audio to not only DSD (x4) but also 32/384. Not only that, but for $600.00 USD less than the Auralic Aires ($1200 less than the Aires standard) one also get's a DAC.
Rather notable as the Delivalet D-Premier ($16,500.00 USD, now "Expert") is also 24/192. Becoming DSD, however.
We hated the cheap white look in the MicroMega MyDAC ($399.00 USD), and the interface / display of the Logitech SqueezeBox Touch ($299.00 USD), compared to the iPhone, for that matter, but the Auralic Aries Mini, despite the similarly cheap look (along with no XLR, and likely cheap RCA connects) gets our nod of approval.
Along with the ESS 9018 DAC included, one also gets an app for the iPhone and Android.
