Yamaha A-S3000 Integrated Amplifier Review

Yamaha A-S3000 Integrated Amplifier

Let us talk of Yamaha Musical Instruments. Comparing Yamaha to Selmer.

Yamaha musical instruments have very good action. Back in the 1980's you could buy a Yamaha musical instrument (saxophone), pro, for $2,000.00. Alto, Tenor or Soprano.

They would only last about 5-years. Then, you would need to have them re-done. Have them a complete over-haul. Would cost about $1,000.00.

The rod and key structure was fragile (though the brass, good, and gold plated - great sound), though the action was fast.

Eminently, they were playable.

Many would prefer Selmer, but Selmer stopped knowing how to make a Saxophone in the 1950s. The Mark VI.

They would buy them in terrible condition, and emulate their idols. Otto Link.

Lately, we heard a band on CBC. The player (guitar was good). It sounded like Pat Metheny, but worse. Had he changed his style (psychological), I wondered. All the notes were his. Had get gotten loose and sloppy?

I went on to identify all the players, except the drummer who should of been Jack Dejonette, but clearly wasn't. Had Pat Metheny created a new album, that was worth listening to, I wondered?

It turned out to be some local band.

Well see if Downbeat gets back to us with the name.

Yamaha sounds fabulous.

If you want to listen to music on the Yamaha A-S3000, try Pat Metheny:
