The Sony CDP-C79ES ($699.99 USD) is one poor CD player. For one, it includes a CD changer. For another, it does not offer coax output.
Let us look at the specification,
For a better option, choose the Sony CDP-X55ES. The Sony CDP-X777 would be a better option, as well. It's going a bit over, but the CDP-R1 CD Transport and DAS-R1 DAC ($8,000.00 USD) was likely the best Sony CD "Player" prior to SACD.
While a friend had the DAS set, we would of preferred the Reference one-box unit.
