Apple iPad Pro Review - Tech Runner

http://images.apple.com/v/ipad/home/t/home/images/ipadpro_large.pngThe Apple iPad Pro is too small. About 1". Many men will be familiar with this predicament.

The size of a piece paper is 8.5 by 11 inches. This would of been the ideal size for a tablet, on introduction.

The Apple iPad: 5.82 x 7.75" (9.7")
The Apple iPad Mini: 4.74 x 6.32" (7.9")
The Apple iPad Pro: 7.74 x 10.32" (12.9")

The use of a tablet is to replace the usage of paper.

The Word border size is 1.0" on top and bottom margins, and between 1.0" to 1.25" on left and right, depending on version.

So you could say that a 7.5" by 10" tablet would make sense, but that is silly.

The standard problem with the Apple iPad (1, 2, 3, Retina, Mini), besides cheapness of product, is the border. The size is non-adjustable, and the screen is non flush. Should you get a Black iPad, you may not notice - but on Silver, aghast.

The screen is beautiful, but the object is ugly. The move from a straight side (like on the Apple iPhone 4 ) to a curved edge was a terrible idea. There was no reason for it. You can fit less componentry inside (less interior volume). More so, your hand will grasp the side of the object, less.

Admittedly, the reason was to sell more cases for iPads.

The removal of the back glass on the Apple iPhone 5 was ridiculous. It made it much less attractive, and there was no reason (other than subtle psychological) for the increase in length. It was a parlor trick given the manufacturing price of LCD's at the time.

That it includes a pen is fantastic.

That it includes a keyboard also is amazing.

These prices are small prices to pay (Mountblanc) for such potentially useful items.

At 25.15 ounces, the iPad Pro is just the right weight. Compared to the Apple iPad Mini Retina 2/3/4 (16.5435 oz) which feels (about 4x) too heavy.

Conclusion:

We do not recommend the Apple iPad Pro (Revision 1.0) until it is available with 512 GB. Apple makes some warrant that is it as powerful as a computer. The Apple MacPro is available with 512 GB. Our iPad Mini has 128 GB (This is sufficient for full-lifecycle use). Our Apple iPhone 4 is equipped with 32 GB which, with just a minimal collection of music and a smattering of selected apps, is not at all enough. 128 GB would be sufficient.

Apps grow in size with time, due to developers, and you will wish to use your device (Apple iPad Pro) for more than just the first year, unless you are the type to replace your products with each new version.

You may play with the Apple iPad Pro at 128 GB, but should you wish to take photos or explore any apps you may wish a better, later version (512 GB).
