Blue Yeti Pro

We have a problem. We haven't got our uppences enough. Could we spend $300,000.00 CDN on a power amplifier? No! That's 1/2 our eyewear budget. Could we spend $150,000.00 USD on two D/A converters (1 RCA, 1 XLR) - yes, but we would not ... yet!

Yes, we have the Blue Yeti Pro ($300.00 USD) microphone. We could work online as a radio commenter via YoutTube. It would be a fun way to make some money, and if we could find some fine Canadian substitute for Amero Cuban cigars...

Yet... it takes a certain budget to be a Hi Fi Reviewer. Like a wine reviewer, one must have the Hi Fi equivalent of $3000-$10,000 wines. That's WaveAC SH-833 Amplifiers on-tap, with full power-supplies. That's a set of Jadis 800's, also. And that's just SET.

Not to mention Boulder. And we're not talking NAD's.

It takes some nads to be a hi fi Reviewer, though. You've got to say bad things, and good things, alike.

Yes, we would like to be a proper radio commentator. One that only has good things to say. That only talks about and endorses products he wholly and properly uses, likes and actually ... loves!

Now, equipment is only equipment. But, man can have a love with anything. Witness a car fanatic. He looks at his cars before he goes up home at night, like little babies in the crib.

The same with Hi Fi.

Now, I believe we should begin our journey with Wadia.
