Meridian Explorer 2

EXPLORER²

For our Apple Mac Mini, the Meridian Explorer² would be about perfect. We'd like to plug our Fostex TH-600 into them, but the plug is too big.

The Apple Mac Mini isn't the most amazing device, and has only been offering dual cores (2-core, i5 or i7), since this year, resulting in about a 40% reduction of performance.

The Merridian Explorer 2 offers two outputs, however. Plus, as the Apple Mac Mini computer's USB ports are at the rear, unlike the Apple MacBook Air, which are at the side, the Explorer 2 can bring the headphone output to the front, right beside "Apple's own."

Back in the 1980's, Newman's Own was the predominant iconic product (of the era next to the Apple Macintosh), and Meridian is almost post-80's, you could say.

The black lip sticks out, if you look closely, you could say, although there is gold inside. In look, it's somewhat still cheap.

Not a lot has gone into the product design.

We'd like to say MQA has a store of abject worthiness.

Back in the heyday, Internet Explorer was at the front of the web, and you could say the Meridian Explorer 2 ($299.00 USD) is for those wayward souls looking for an up-face.
