Photos: Large and Small

Sometimes seeing a small photo of something can be more exciting than seeing the original image.

After all, it's the iFi Micro iDSD, and not the Nano. That's a bit more of a headphone amplifier, which is capable of driving our AKG Q701's. Exciting. Then there is the Audeze - fascinating, great luxurious 'phones. Then there is the D1 on the back. It looks large.

You can click on the second photo to expand it. In the first photo, we see something interesting. For the headphone enthusiast, like ourselves, it's a nice photo. Would we consider getting this setup (headphones and amplifier), we ask ourselves, when seeing it.

Zooming in, we see that it's just a component of the TotalDAC D1. Then there's the cheap USB connector. The iFi looks Maserati like, when small (three "holes"), but less impressive in out-of-focus, in context. Then you can see the LCD's are 2's and not 3's. Cheap leather. Low details. Cheap cables. Then on the desk, you can see that a child used it, for crayons.

About right, for the price. $1500.00 USD + 360.00 EUR for the Total DAC D1 USB Cable / Filter.

Could you see it in your home? :)
