B&W 805 Diamond
The B&W 805 Diamond is about what you'd want in a home audio loudspeaker, for some opera. The cabinet design was better with the Matrix 805, but the Nautilus tech trickle-down was included.
Harbeth Monitor 30.1
$5990
Disparagingly, we can not fault the appearance of the Harbeth Monitor 30.1.
Joseph Audio Pulsar
$7700
The Joseph Audio Pulsar is well put together, and Jeff can really put together a loudspeaker.
Don't rock the boat with this one...
Von Schweikert Unifield Two
$7995 (stands included)
Finally a stand-mount loudspeaker that really includes stands. While we would rather pick up something from Tiffany T, and don't quite like the look of the loudspeaker, we can't fault the Tri-Lateral stance.
EnigmaAcoustics Mythology M1
$14,690 w/stands; $13,690 w/o stands
We've knocked this one without seeing its value to the reseller. At $40K, it would be a fine purchase.
Raidho C-1.1$18,000
A fine loudspeaker, that would be perfect for us. We don't like the look of the bass driver, nor the look of the stand. It was improved with the Diamond (D) version, but the price did happily ($28,500.00 USD) not. You might find it funny that we admire the things in which we find fault. That is the way.
Although we have some misgivings about the bass (there being none...), one (writing for hi-fi's) does not generally compose in this particular region.
You might find it suitable for your home, also!!
