LG is a dominant manufacturer, particularity of washing machines.
For the purposes of this review, we hooked up the Nintendo Wii with the LG 47CS570. I don't have a master's degree in Computer Science, but it would be appropriate.
It's a fine TV. It looks like shit, but it doesn't matter. 120 Hz will get you a reasonable re-play rate. The warranty is one (1) year.
For the purposes of this review, it being Valentine's Day, we selected "Mark Levinson*: Live Recordings at Red Rose Music, Volume One" and "Injec+".
In our review of the Wii, we said that the discs go either way, but are not needed. That's not entirely true. The discs go from left to right, but the motif is conjugal. [That they are not needed is complimentary.]
The thing (LG) includes a rotating cube, which is good. It's a preliminary object interface. There's a logo inside. It's poor. What does LG stand for? Looser Group? On top, there's a bar, which is good. It's an adaptive motion detector.
The Wii would neither play SACD's (CD layer), nor would it play a Compact Disc (CD).
Playing "Redemption" via Netflix, however "...the sound was slightly better than a Ghetto Blaster." (Panel).
It's sad that the Wii would not play CD's, however it's Nintendo's business to sell their games. What does one need to play CD's, another box? It would be better if it did.
Life's Good!
Samsung is a manufacturer, particularly of apartment blocks.
*(it's a SACD, and SACD's are better).
+(Electronica is better, and electronica with live percussion is better, as Hi-Fi lacks dynamics).
x It's no CEC TL-0, and certainly no Pi Tracer - up close, but the blue light that comes up when you are absolute to insert a disc - is almost medical.
While LG does not make Medical Devices, other than TV's (for that you'll need to see Siemens), there is a company, LG Medical, which will sell you MRI's should you wish.
