Solution: The Swiss

Soulution 711 Stereo Amplifier, 701 Monoblock Amplifier, and 725 Full-Function Preamplifier

Looking at them, there isn't anything that says Solution about the Solution 725 Pre-Amplifier, and 701 Monoblock amplifiers.

Look inside, and there is something stately and elegant.

The circuits of the Solution components resemble cities, when expressed in component form. There is something both civically and architecturally elegant about their interior composition, construction, nay layout.

To be nit-picking about Soltution components, is to be nit-picking about life. That is, to look at the 701, and not see so much what we liked about the 710 is true, but not per tenant.

Although expressed in an inferior board form,  the Solution 701 is not for us, hi-fi lego, as was the 710, and that is what makes it, to us, a statuesquely inferior component.

We like Solution, but this stack does not ring true to us. In hi fi, you wish both technology, and transcendence. [The ideal speaker for the Solution 700 amp is the Magico M5, two 700's per side. The 721 Pre-ampliifer is sufficient, as it is their companion product, and their 740 CD/SACD player is fine.]

When you look inside your radio equipment (and stereo) you wish to see the same rigid attention to detail that you expect in the outside world.

That is true for us, and it may be true for you, as well.

If so, you may very well like the initial series of Solution components. They exude a timeless elegance, and may retrospectly be used today.
