From the front, the Tom Ford Edward Burnished Leather Brogue Monkstrap ($1710 USD) is all-right. The front and the strap resemble a penis, and the square is all-right. We admire the stitching accent on the middle section. It's a handsome piece. From the bottom, it's nice, also. A shoe-horn south, and a split-tongue mid.
From the top, however, we don't like the front shape, while the angled-line, Satan's eye, and mid-detail is alarming. You can see a bit of fringing already, and the interior may be suspect. From the front, we don't like the blackened-front and two-tone look (spray can), and the front shape really stands out as obnoxious. You can see damage to the upper-lip, and there's a suspect stitch holding the design (rain) together.
The Edward Burnished Leather Zip Chelsea Boot ($2000 USD) is much more handsome, however. It's got a very attractive sole, and look from the bottom, and the look from the front is shiny and together. The star * details add a nice touch, and the darker colour makes it look much more solid, particularly on the bottom. You could imagine the owner of a pair of Audeze LCD-2's in Rosewood having a pair of these. At $3000 together it forms a nice pair for long-term love.
Tom Ford recently introduced a penis necklace (small and large), so we tackle the matter of the monk strap, courtesy of Tom Ford.
