Liquid Metal

There's nothing wrong with the AudioQuest Nighthawlk. In fact, it's downright interesting. There's nothing wrong with the design, either. The question with a product, is, however: does it inspire you?

To us, the Audioquest Nighthawlk is a woeful headphone. It has the design of a microphone in it's side-cups, but it isn't a microphone. It has a liquid wood version of wood, but it isn't a boat. It has wood in it, but it isn't an Audeze. It has a phono cable look to it's Nighthawlk phono cable lead, but it isn't a Cardas.

It is a wonderfully designed headphone, but to us, it incorporates all the worst elements of design. Like a Santos de Cartier Aviator sun glass, it incorporates fantastically oriented elements foreign to the design itself.
