Such homes have two dilemmas, at least here. (1) High Property Taxes (on a 10M condo, expect to pay $15K+ property tax - about the same as a B&W 802 diamond - annually to the city). (2) open-concept, non-parallel wall spaces - not what the audio manufactures expect. (3) High Strata Fees - except about $3000 / month for 5000 sq. feet.
Should you use such space as a home office, you may be able to write off some of these recurring costs with your accountant for tax purposes.
Bower's & Wilkins (B&W)'s CT and CI Custom Installation series are by and the way the most popular if not the best sounding for such purposes (saving money). The sound will be better than you would hear in public-address systems in most situations (ferry, rail, air travel), however there are specialist manufactures that better serve the audio market, generally.
Three come to mind. Steinway & Sons, BG Radia, and Wisdom Audio. Wisdom Audio may be the most affordable.
In the past, they manufactured leading speakers which could fill an auditorium with Audiophile-quality music.
Now they make a range of affordable and semi-affordable lines of if-wall loudspeakers, suitable to the modern home.
