| The Stax SR-009 Headphone Set |
It is our contention that the Stax 009 sits somewhere between the Magico M5 and the Q9. On the pantheon of headphones, that's pretty. Stax refers to all of their headphones as ear speakers - they require an exemplary amplifier. Devialet's D-Premier would make an excellent companion.
The D Logo (Power Button) could be removed, off the Devialet, and a Stax 5-pin plug inserted.We like the curves of the Devialet, and the Stax is hard.
It's a nice combo.
