Chrome Hearts "The Grand Beast III" Sunglasses Review

At $8,500.00 USD, Chrome Hearts Grand Beast III Sunglasses ($8,500.00 USD) are cheap and go well with a good hat.

In temple varnish, a black line on the model we looked at, they mimic the line of the Maybach Monarch I ($22,000.00 USD).

The 7-layer varnish is less than the 30 of the Japanese Urashi.

The walnut inlay is nice, very good, and reminiscent of the Clive Christian cabinets of New York's One 57, but is not the same thing in entirety.

We see the typical Chrome Hearts user as a Japanese Club Kid (primary), or alternately a casino-Motorcycle type guy.

It is an interesting brand. They don't publish a lot of material. Available without Diamond, and Gold Plated Silver, alternatively, you can find a less flashy solid 18K version at $22,000.00 USD. Same as Maybach.

Though being a motorcycle thing, it's the not the sort of thing even the head of the Hell's Angels in Canada or BC would wear, for fear of loss due a bar fight, primarily, but more the head of the Cali Cartel.

It's the sort of thing someone would wear, who, if you would touch them, would have you killed for the insult. [We would purchase them if we were not asked, though, we are not that guy...]

In terms of nomenclature, you can think Beast, as in Satan. Grand, as in Piano. And III as in Holy Trinity. It's a very nice combination. A good solid look.

It's nice to see a well-worn, well-designed pair of sunglasses.

You may wish to attend a Trunk Show, should you wish to see the nature and variety of Chrome Hearts sunglasses.

...

We regret we did not have that pleasure.

At Eyes on Burrard, we had been invited to a trunk show, and by being shown this CH, stopped from purchasing four items of the Chrome Hearts brand there. It is not a good idea for the customer to be stopped in purchase.

Thus, they will not buy.
