An audiophile looking to play hi fi for Christmas could assemble a system of Trends Audio components at minimal expense.

Though some would prefer Lego, those without turntables could put a very good system together with their desktop laptop as a musical source. Those without loudspeakers would seriously try the SA-10R (or SA-10). Purchasing both would be a god-send, as you can thus experiment with both Quad, and the rough difference between a Rey Audio RM-7 porting scheme vs the tweeter alignment of a ProAc set.

The benefit of the Trends components is that they are very small (and inexpensive), and that their speakers are not that deep (in inches).
