Aerial Acoustics Model 7T Loudspeaker Review

The Aerial Acoustics Model 7T Loudspeaker ($9850.00 USD / pair) sits between the PSB Synchrony One ($4500 / pair) and the the Sonus Faber Amati Futura ($36,000 / pair) in composition.

Unlike the Revel Ultima Salon 2  ($21,998/pair), or Studio 2 ($15,999/pair), which share a similar base, the veneered sides do not seem cheap (and inexpensive), though the feet are a bit odd, under the base.

Look at the slope of the side. How it rises from the front to the back, like a Wilson Benesch Cardinal (£55,000.00 GBP), in a rather more ordinal way, we must say. The Model 9 ($8,800/pair) positively (in Titanium) looks like an industry award, in this way.

What stands out on the 7T is the ring-radiator tweeter. This will give it coherence from top to bottom, and a refined appearance.

You will find (with a frequency response of 28Hz-25kHz ±2dB) it a pleasure in your home.

We like the gentle slope, the refreshing black of the front face, and the flatness of the mid - many loudspeakers have accentuated curves - witness Wilson, but the 7T is rather tart.

We'd say that a Boulder amplifier, like the 810 Pre ($6900.00 USD) with a pair of 850's ($5000.00 USD / each) (or a Boulder 860 ($8500.00 USD)) would be perfect.

You'll find it perfect in your home.
