Wyred for Sound

Wyred for Sound has been making ugly, sub-standard products for ages, at attractive price points for the young audiophile.

Wyred 4 Sound logo

There logo is a bit of a devil's horns, and the devil is in the details. The only attractive product in their lineup is their femto clock upgrade, though you may like their shirt. ($15)

Wyred for Sound Femto Clock Upgrade - $275.00 USD

At $275.00 USD, it is more interesting to hobbyists than the MSB Galaxy Clock at $4995.00 USD. One wonders if they can perform the modification on your (non Wyred for Sound) components.

The Femto Clock Upgrade is meant to fit into the Wyred 4 Sound DAC-1 LE ($999.00 USD). If jitter is an issue, it likely increases the chance you are less susceptible. It's a clock thing alright. $125.00 USD.

The DAC-1 supports 32-bit PCM.

S/N: 115 dB

For a 32-bit signal, the S/N must be 1680 dB. 140 dB would be nice for 24-bit.

Cross-talk: 98 dB
