Whisky

The FiiO E11K is an excellent introduction to the whiskey flask. Brooks Brothers makes an excellent one, and it looks like it is property stitched at the back. We have a small collection, and one ("The Bridge"), made in Great Britain, 4 oz. came apart with the first pour of Angel's Share over it's lips. Fellows, if you're going to use glue for a whisky product, make sure that it isn't whisky-soluable.

We're not sure if the E11K is whiskey-proof (nor water proof for that matter - our Olympus's LED went out with only the smallest pour of water... - a great product), but it will set you for an 11K walk.

It's 1400 mAhH will last you up to 16 hours. Even chatting all the time, nay up Kilimanjaro, that should get you past 11K - even Johnny Walker with his cane...

Could do better.

As for styling, we think that FiiO hit it's high point with the E10 Olympus.

The E12 excellently styled (and built), also, but could really use an in-built DAC.

We'd say that the E11 is cute and plucky. Do you like it? At $60.00 USD, It's your call.
