When it comes to cables, Audiophiles usually don't see the forest from the trees. We've been granted a copy of Audioquest's 0.75m 2'5" Forrest Mni USB cable from Headphone Bar.
Compositionally, it's 0.5% silver (conductor), which is about the difference between a Mortgage Rate and a top GIC at a bank.

1 year - 1.30% Non-Cashable GIC
At TD Canada Trust, that difference is 1.79%, which shows you that margins aren't what they - might be, were costs lower.

We're not recommending either of these products - mortgages or GIC's, however it makes a apt comparison. Cables are some of the biggest margin products in audio, you know.
The AudioQuest Forrest would make an excellent starter cable for those with an iFi iUSB Power block. Inside, it's a bit like a Canaere, with a ground wire, attached. You'll see the insulating scheme is different.

We'll review it, and the iFi cable, itself.
