Slummin' It!

The Stax 007t is phenomenal. With the Omega II (original/upgraded) headphone, it works great with YouTube. You can use a DAC like the AudioEngine (D1) with the originally supplied Stax IC. This will alleviate the buzz and ac hum that your PC will likely produce. With the advent of the Audeze LCD-3, Sennheiser HD800, and of course the second generation of Stax* (the 009/727 II), and the Sennheiser IE800, you may wish to use an in-ear. However, This is one of the most comfortable products to listen to and enjoy. In the 1990's it was about the level of a competitive hi-fi system @ $300,000 CDN. The same will be true today with an 009.
