Hermès is one of our favourite stores. It is wonderful to come in for the first time, out of curiosity and welcome interest, and be welcomed back by the entire shop staff, in receiver fashion.
We've greatly admired their Kilim watch in yellow gold with diamonds, and thought it would make an excellent bracelet, and anklet. The design proved too thick for the later, however we admired the sparing use of diamond to solely form the H logo on the model we saw; and removing the watch element would add spectacular sparkle.
They are wonderful, in that they take common, typically unfashionable objects, and yet somehow take them to the build-level of true-comfort.
This season, we like their Trio scarf ring in Perma-brass, their Etrier in Palladium, and their lovely Chaîne... in Perma-brass, and Palladium.
We like Hermes.
Every story must have a chain - a beginning, a middle and perhaps, a finish!
