We have a friend, Cadillac Jack, who used to be a longshoreman.
Because of this, and because we shop for Jewelry, so much, we recommend to him that he buy this David Yurman Cable Classics Signet Ring in 18K (with rope motif...) for his little pinky.
After all, what else do you do with your Canadian Pension (CP)?
Now, Hard as Diamond, locally, here in Vancouver, also makes ILWU (International Longshore & Warehouse Union) pendants and rings also, which we alternately recommended to him.
The Cable Classics is a very noble ring, solid, which would look good on us, but would not suit us, as we do not work.
It's a retired, working man's ring, which the pictures, they do not do it justice!

We also considered the Ship Wreck collection, in 22K, for him, as he is so often off in Thailand. They specialize in 22-23K.
