Well, we though we had / would have caught up with Sjarns Ejeban (of 6moons.com), who had gotten his for free!
$2475
27" iMac | 3.5 GHz Core i7 | 32GB RAM | 4GB VRAM | 3TB Fusion Drive
His has a Gold (Golden) Sun Logo, over...
When buying used, it's important to buy on / from a good street, in a good area, from someone who is rich (not financially beholden).
When the iMac Retina 5K came out, it was $4,200.00 CDN (our age then, 42), fully (properly) configured. It had a gForce (and not an Raidon: who wants one of those?) 4 GB video.
Who cares if it is 4.0 GHz, with the Turbo always on or, 4.4 GHz, after? 4 is a good number!
The 3 TB is just enough for an OS and major (audio) applications (and a 16-bit, 44.1 kHz CD audio collection), providing you buy a Pegasus or two, for HD audio.

It's important (in the interm) that the item is in perfect, physical condition (which this one is).

A man who takes proper, many, photos of, like Rob Libera of Blue Star Motors, and aah this one, gives you confidence in the condition. You can see that there are no nicks or anything.

One problem with the iMac Retina 4 or 5K is that it is 16 x 9, and that it can not be rotated into another position, or have an external computer plugged it er, to save on another monitor.
The upcoming iMac Pro ($15K plus, fully, properly configured...) can at least have another two or three other monitors plugged into it, at full resolution, but it's important for the primary monitor to be of good condition.

One thing we did not like about the iMac Retina 5K ($USD to $USD), though we liked the thin edges (see photo) was the border (on the bottom) and that the screen (see interior) was not edge to edge.
When we went to the Apple Store, to buy it, bringing cash and debit card, to buy it, along with an iPad Pro, they would not sell, insisting that we buy a gift card, and buy it online.
Instead we bought a John Hardy Naga XL Bracelet ($ USD) at the store down the mall, Holt Renfrew, which we later lost on the bridge (and are now on our 4th).
