It's interesting to see [both] MIT and Transparent Cable [similar progenitors...] featured in this cable roundup.
MIT was featured before [Stereophile] on the 2C3D with Avalon HC Speakers and Spectral DMA / DMC Electronics.
The price of this MIT ACC268 cable, however, for the speaker portion, is over that of today's Spectral DMA-400 Monoaural Reference Amplifier ($15,000.00 USD / amp) and Spectral DMC-30SV Reference Preamplifier ($14,000.00 USD).
Avalon Acoustics Isis Loudspeaker ($62,000.00 USD) of today is likewise out of the picture.
Even at $327,000.00 USD, Avalon Acoustics Tesseract Loudspeaker, their top model, it seems unlikely that the ACC268 would be chosen.

AudioNet's Heissenberg ($105,000.00 USD) and Stern ($45,000.00 USD) seem logical compatriots, really, but are priced too low, relatively speaking.
Looks wise, the ACC268 by MIT ($80,000.00 USD) seems to compliment the asesthetic look of the Boulder 3010 Preamplifier ($110,000.00 USD). Boulder 3050 Monoblock Amps ($205,000.00 USD / pair).
Perhaps MIT is about to make some ubber-labatory grade audio components to put the Boulder amps and pre-amp to shame at the $800K / component price level...
