| Audio Research Ok, you can also see elements of Goldmund here, in the central panels like the Goldmund Millenum, and Goldmund Plaques, and it's also an IBM System/1, but it's the add-on rack handles (and power-conditioners) that really make this a man's Audio Research style audio rack. |

| Goldmund You can really see the progenitor of Goldmund in the design elements of this IBM System/1 |
It's also a game, by Milton Bradley.
The IBM Series/1 [1976] is a 16-bit minicomputer ($ USD), which is still in use and "Coordinates the operational functions of the United States’ nuclear forces, such as intercontinental ballistic missiles, nuclear bombers, and tanker support aircraft."
The agency plans to update some of the technology by the end of the 2017 fiscal year.
Like this IBM Series/1, your Hi Fi purchase may very well last you, and serve as your primary audio replenishment some 40 or more years! That's two (2) Bryston warranties, and quite an accomplishment!
