There is something to Urban Fidelity's correlate analogy of Hi Fi and Cars.
In person, the LH Labs Geekout V2 USB DAC and Headphone Amplifier ($299.00 USD) is not very good looking, and roughly produced slash machined.
Just look above at the Geekout 100 ($169.00 USD), however, and the fit an finish in particular. The Geekout 1000 is amazing!

Like DAC's and Headphone Amplifiers, we've seen a lot of poor looking cars.
That can not be said for the Mercedes SLS we saw at Blue Star Motors for $169,000.00 USD.
