For us, it's a beautiful headphone, and just another $1500. Still, we can't help but look at that ring, and realize that it's just a small driver. No bigger than a tweeter. We look at all that great looking mesh, realize that it's modeled after the Sennheiser Orpheus, and know that there should be some electrostatic Mylar.
