Johnny Walker Black is good enough to give your friends. Johnny Walker Blue is good enough for you. While there is nothing redemptive in Johnny Walker Blue (other Whiskies are better), there is enough in a single-shot for taste satisfaction.
For Jason, coming back to the Monitor Gold was a bit like coming back to the wife, after having had a glorious affair. Jason's not that type of man, but one would have expected him to play the same songs with the Monitor Gold's as with the Mirage OM's. Jason did not.
Like a great love-making session (revival), Jason began to play all those songs he really loved on his most favourite of loudspeakers.
Resistance is futile, sayeth the Borg.
