When you first look at the Peachtree Shift, you wonder what have they done with it? You mean, they cover it with leather.
Is it any good? Something like Holm Acoustics? I don't know. We only glanced at it for a corner of a second.
As for the device itself, they have called it the Shift. You'd think it would be a digital offset device. You know, something the cable provides you.
We like that the power is increased from the Calynx Coffee (230 mW vs 1.3 V RMS), while DSD is provided (2.8 and 5.6 MHz).
As for the capability, the Signal to Noise (SNR) has not changed: 103 dB vs 100 dB (107 dB Channel Separation) vs the Calynx.
Should you have a Holm Acoustics AMP1 ($ USD) as your computer audio speaker amp and not a Quad 303 ($ USD), we would say that you could use a Peachtree Shift and not your Shift key in a similar capability.
The Holm Acoustics may provide adequate capability for your home audio speaker (500 watts).
