The Matrix Series by B&W was unheralded as having B&W's best cabinet construction, ever.

Let's look at the models.

Should you prudently purchase, you will wish the series 3 model. If you like, and you wish to use, buy two pairs.

The 800 was a very fine model. It dealt with the very real dynamic limitations of the model 801.

Other than the 801, this was the model to get: you could cry listening to voice choral music. The quality was so good.

We can not believe anybody bought the 802 but the specifications were good. Similar to the 801, B&W offered the bass alignment filter.

This was a poor product, given than manufacturers such as Krell offered replacement products.
