Zu Audio Soul Supreme Loudspeaker Review

soul-supreme-1a_03.jpg

Does G-d have a soul? That's the question the Soul Supreme Loudspeaker ($ USD) by Zu Audio invites. The tweeter is a bit low, and the mid-bass is a bit wide. One sees a slimmer cabinet, up to the edge of the mid-bass surround, vertical rather than slanted.

This would of course affect bass, and hence cabinet volume diminishing. It might make for a sightly loudspeaker, however.

With the exception of the veneer, the non-curvature of the tweeter, and the look of the pulp in the mod-bass (and perhaps a non-platinum Zu Logo adornment), we can rightly say that Zu Audio knows a thing or two (except rather slanted) regarding great looking loudspeaker and driver design. Regarding the veneer, it's only the non-symmetry, and the variance of look between the top and the bottom of the shown exemplar of their Supreme.

We can imagine their tweeter used in the Horn Loudspeaker of Acapella Acoustics.
