Can you replace T+A with stereo gear? I mean you can't even get a good (Star Wars) diorama on top. We could plug our headphone in, which is hot.

It's top to have a pre-amplifier, which functions as your headphone amplifier too. Something like the Melos SHA-1 Gold ($ USD).

Now Hi Fi fanatics don't care very much for this. They don't mind having a separate box, to fulfill a function.

Something like the Korg DSD, for play.

It's a stereo DA/AD converter, with a hard-drive, built in.

You could have an amazing display of gear, and then a little box like this, for fun.

How's something for T+A?
