Forever 21

Do you live in a tall building? It might take you a while to hike to the top, but 21 floors won't kill you.

Let's take this opportunity to review the Gucci Boule Bracelet ($185.00 USD / $199.00 CDN). When we think of Boule, we think of Bouillon or Bouilllabaise.

We purchased this today, in size 21 (it was available in size 17) instead of another pair of Maybach Emperor Eyewear in Platinum and Grey Buffalo Horn (Price: TBD).

It's nice to have some shiny silver balls.

Now in composition, the Gucci is similar to the Tiffany 1837 Toggle Bracelet ($225.00 USD / $299.00 CDN). We have this one, as well. Unlike Tiffany, Gucci does not give you any grooves for their clasp.

The balls compress and come together. This is a nice feature. When you look at the holes, it isn't so magical, but from on top, it looks great.

The best feature is the bar. It's like something you would see on a pocket watch. Like the Tiffany Toggle, it resembles a classic T-Bar.

You might remember this from your childhood, skiing Zermatt.

Now the great thing about this little balls is unlike pearls, they wont break and come away. Is it available in a necklace? :)

As for fit, the bar fits nicely in the clasp of a Tiffany Venetian Link Bracelet ($200.00 USD / $255.00 USD). We've got a couple of these, and they make great anklets and necklaces (quite charmed) as well.

The nice thing about the Venetian, other than being a venue for stereo shows, is that 2.5 kg or 5.5 lbs on that chain. As such, should you be considering a 5 kg chain like Jay Z, you'll get a good feeling for the weight, though not the feel, on your neck. It's also a check way to check the feel for an anklet and gauge size.

Some people in jewelry talk of stacking, but it's horizontal, so not really stacking at all.

Now, Givenchy this year has a lot of 5-pointed things and Rottweilers - and what we think is Satanic imagery. You'll be sorry if we didn't point this out.

Choose your fashion wisely.

Fashion Week in Vancouver is September 28th to October 4th.

It would look very nice on a bottle of Merlot, covered in a Red Seal.
