Apple iPad Air 2 Review

The beauty of the Apple iPhone 4 (and 4S model) is that the resolution is strong enough to provide near-optimal vision. You'll not see a pixel, easily.

The Apple iPad Air 2 ($699.00 USD) looks all-right. It's larger than Apple's iPad Mini 3, 2 and Mini and is capable of real-estate display.

It does look a bit cheap, however.

The beveled edge, which looks best in the Grey/Black (Apple Space Grey) model is none the less a detriment. The home button is best on the black model.

One issue that we see with both the iPad and iPad mini models is that the LCD border, which was also present on the iPhone 4 (and 4 model) is far too visible on the models of iPad.

On a CRT, you would adjust the display monitor (like with a NEC 5FG) so as to remove the border, completely.

Seeing the border on a 2016 product - to this eye - is utterly and completely disgusting. It's something you'd give the kids on a One-Laptop-Per-Child (OLPC) with their toy.

Economically speaking, then could $100 in 1995 be equivalent to $699.00 in 2016?

Officially $100 in 1995 is equivalent to $156.59 in 2015.
Going back, $699 in 2015 is equivalent to $446.40 in 1995.

OLP (C)'s cost turned out to be, with over-runs (with zero margin) $461.00 USD [2011]

With Dell laptops running at $400, why did they bother? :)

We speak figuratively of Dell ($399.00 USD) laptops. Speculatively, we are referencing the HP Mini Netbook 1000. A very good thing.
