We were present at the Vancouver Audio Show, this year. It was at the Hilton Vancouver, Metrotown, a nicely architected construction, out of place with the surroundings.
In the spirit of Tyll Hertsens (InnerFidelity.com), we chose a simple outfit of a Tommy Bahamas floral shirt, Cartier Aviators, and an Italian Panama Hat.
Immediately upon arrival, we noticed the show was well set-up. A large cheap pair of fake headphones decorated the doorway (we wore B&O H3 in-ears for the show, along with an Apple iPhone 4), and happy friendly staff welcomed guests in and out.
Sign-in was magnanimous. It wasn't at all improbable to get in - unless a Mining and Resources Expo - without pre-registration. A card (lanyard) was provided and in was in. There, you could go from the first to your choice of three levels - actually four, including the landing.
The Chester Group organized the event. On the second floor, the Bacarrat, Lallique, and Charidon rooms were the main attractions.
