Devialet Phantom Integrated Speaker Review

When you look at the Devialet Phantom ($1950.00 USD - $2,350.00 USD), you will see something that looks unbelievably ugly and cheap. And yet, it sounds more lively (better powered) than ubber speakers, and utterly listenable.

We'd go so far as to say that it sounds more lively and musically engaging than Bowers and Wilkins 802 Diamond Loudspeakers ($15,000.00 USD) as powered by the Class SST-800 Preamplifer ($8,000.00 USD) driving the Classe CT-M600 ($13,000.00 USD) Monoblock, and is perfect for the desk.

Conceptually, the item is a Tie Fighter, in compact configuration.

Leaving out the Transparent OPUS RCA Interconnect ($11,000.00 USD) and Transparent OPUS MM2 Speaker Cable ($39,000.00), adding $61,000.00 USD.

Not only savings, but watts, you'll be getting with The Phantom Option!

The Phantom (standard) delivers 700 watts, while the Phantom Silver offers 3000.

At between $3,900.00 USD (regular) and $4,700.00 USD (Premium, Silver), then, for the pair, you're getting some power, along with saving.

We'd recommend the Phantom Silver for the desk.

Despite the cosmetics, we'd recommend the Phantom Silver for the executive desktop.
