Having a good amplifier is essential to audio reproduction. Many fine amplifiers come in pairs. The Electrocompaniet AW180 is called "Ampliwire" as in an amplifier that acts as a wire. This is the arbiter of a really good amp, such as the Arbiter by Dynaudio, or the Nemo by Electrocompaniet.
Can this be said of the Ampliwire (AW) 180?
One nice thing about Electrocompaniet is that it's not much bigger than a wire. Not much bigger that a box that comes on one, at least. Modern cables such as the Transparent Opus XL often come with a "box" that's much bigger than this Electrocompaniet, and yet this is an "amplifiier!"
A straight wire, with gain! 180 watts, to be exact. How many farads? It's not a scaler, by Faradua. Something that would be integrated into the TV set, today, but an amplifier - something that might be integrated into the speaker, in the future.
Many speakers come with amplifiers today, but having an external amplifier is a fine way to play "bird on the wire."
We're not talking about sex, mind you. We're talking about really fine amplifiers and amplification. Something which, with the right speaker, and music, can be sex for the mind.
That is, an orgasm of sights, sounds, and senses, should you have a suitably attractive room.
Have you seen "Man with Flowers?" It's a fine, essential movie, in which a man listens to music as he has a nice model undress before him. He sits on the listening chair, and enjoys the pleasure of the visual sensation. What a mind!
We'd like to say that not every speaker or amplifier comes with a model, despite the advertising. That you would have to supply on your own devices.
A device like the Electrocompaniet AW180 represents the fine splendour of solid audio reproduction. A very nice step between a class device and a very fine specimen.
Some wire by Nordst might complete the transaction.
The A Ampliwire by Electrocompaniet. Sight not of sight, but of sound. Sound delivered to you. By a wire, with gain?
Let us Imagine. A Class A Device for your Home.
