uAmp Press Release: Hi Fi Art
Ok. There's something to be said for a device which fits in your coin pocket. It's higher than your front pocket, where you'll likely carry your iPhone, and so there's a chance your headphone cable with the additional height advantage will be just the right length to use and enjoy.
But, is it an Apple TV? No. Is it an iPod Mini? No. Does it communicate with your phone via BlueTooth (APT-X) to provide an inferior sound quality, but at least ensure a wireless connection?
Ah, no. Here's truth in advertising. The photo shows the wrong use, and leaves out the mobile phone / iPhone device from the picture. There's a cable needed to attach it your your mobile.
As such, when you pull out your mobile phone to make or answer a call, you'll be ripping the cord from the uAmp - Unless, they're attached via an elastic band or such, so it runs the look of your phone or mobile case. So much for convenience in your pocket.
The device, the uAmp, looks both cute and ugly.
If you're using a cheap Apple earbud, as this device looks to be, more power is the less thing you'll need.
Original.
