Martin Logan Motion 35XT Rundown: A Loudspeaker
The Martin Logan Motion 35XT ($600.00 / ea.) is not the one to buy. Like a seven floor building, they are sweet, and perhaps lucky. The Motion 60XT ($3000.00 USD / pair) is the one to choose. You might as well get it, at the top. This loudspeaker is unbelievably cheaply priced ($1500.00 / ea.), and suitable for a condo. You can't get lowdown there - you're neighbors will kill you for the bass.
We've evicted one tenant, previously. Actually, not a tenant, but an owner, through a series of strata fines. The tenant liked the Canucks. Nothing wrong with a hockey party. We liked the Bruins - met two of them at Harry Rosen. They had a hockey party. Had a bit of noise. Had three hockey parties. Too much for the boys.
You can get it the same price in Cherrywood, which is lovely, and nothing at all wrong with the gloss black. Should you like the piano, the symphony, whatever, maybe even a little jazz guitar, this one will suit you.
Like Spyro Gyra, then Martin Logan has been spinning a great series of bequests. We've Touched down on their Neolith in Neolithian detail, but one can't fault their Motion, Electromotion, or Floor Standing ESL series (including reserve), one bit.
Here's to a Balanced Force, without a Crescendo.
What would you do with 100,000,000 EUR?
Language:
1. Touched down - a reference to a French movie, "Les Tuche." (2010). The principle character, Jeff would greatly admire the Monaco Neolith for his suave home.
2. Spyro Gyra - a jazz band, principally of the 1980's. The post Larry Corryell set of the GRP scene. Unbelievably talented, and unbelievable how anyone would listen more than once - they made music which the Motion 60XT could re-create.
You can get it at your home.

Note: What's interesting about the Motion series is the 5000 Hz extension for such low-dollar. You've got such detail fitting a higher speaker.
