Headphone Roundup

The AKG XS you can see is cheap, but nice. [$50]. The little plasticy bits are a sure give-away, and you can use it will the small ear-tips, arrestingly. They fit in your ear, so that you can't see the spac. The B&O H3 look bad, because you can see the side grey bit. [$300]. The Beats urBeats by Alexander Wang [$200] look great, especially the cut at the back 1/4. The Sennheiser IE-80 look ugly, but are good for outdoor sports and are rugged. [$500]. The Final Audio Astell & Kern [$200] AKR-01 look gay, but they're good for jazz. The Sennheiser IE-800 [$1000] look cheap and are breakable. The AKG K375 look great, and you can [$125] use the medium ear-tips from the AKG XS [$50] to give them another look.

We added two sets of NOCS NS 500 [$100]'s to our inventory, in rose gold, and gave them away this month. They make great presents for girls - we like them better than the AKG K3003 for this purpose, due to their white-colored cables, though the 3003 does have a nice box. Likewise the Final Audio Pandora Hope VI - nice box.

We still have a set of Jays a-Jays Five to be given away, and have yet to enter the watch giving away, ala Vladimir Putin to our readership. Note, the Jays are not blue, despite being designed in Sweden!

We'll be reviewing the AudioTechnica ATH-ADG-1 [$300], due to it's red colour and apt replay, along with the Sennheiser PC-360 [$250] and Sennheiser PC-363 [$300].

Note: Headphone winding technique is not that different from XLR wind-up technique, which you would use, post-staging. [заметка]

We plan to round out our roundup with listening via the Cardas EM-5813, Final Audio Piano Forte VIII, X-CC, X-G, and HiFiMan RE-600 Songbird [ala Larissa Divakova.]
