In a smaller (€1.950.000 EUR, $2,383,572 USD) space such as this, we're inclined to say speakers such as that corner speakers like the AudioNote AN-E might be the logical choice.
The price is equivalent to the Vancouver House Estate units, we mentioned earlier.
Ideally you'd want a living room at least 1/3rd (one more set of windows) wider than this, like the Vancouver House, for audio. Note the partially vaulted ceilings in the long room, and the decor / diplomat style of the furnishing and layout. The warm glow of Kondo (or more expensively, AudioNote) components would warm up the place, we'd say.
The bedroom could use a Bang and Oluffsen Beolit 12 on the night-stand, as could the office desk, procedurally. The washroom could use ceiling mounted speakers such as Focal Sib-T.
We bring up AudioNote as it's an excellent city residence of smaller size. Suiting the floor style, and the apartment, given the size and the decor, ideally would be the Bang and Oluffsen BeoPlay A9.
We were tempted, however to suggest the FM Acoustics XS-IIIB loudspeaker, or temping, the NBS Pyramid ($75,000.00 USD) loudspeaker.
The NBS Butter / Fly and the EVA ($200,000 USD ea/pr) stereo loudspeakers are also interesting choices, but they don't really fit the space, given the poor quality of the existing shelving - we'd be tempted to soften the shelving that is there, and re-finish the bathroom in a nice white marble, before we look at installing an EVA.
Like the NAD M2, this city apartment ($2M USD), has some strong, usable elements - an elementary wholesome quality that would allow for daily living, centered around both work and home leisure.
We'd like to thank Sothebys for carrying such reasonable apartments. Those heading to Brussels to the EU may wish to consider their services and value-added proposition quality.
