Audioquest Dragonfly DAC Review

If you are going to get yourself a headphone amplifier, make it an Audioquest Dragonfly. We purchased the 1.0 version and found it incompatible with Windows Vista (all ver), however it works well with Windows 8.



Should you be putting together a headphone system on the cheap, it's a good companion for the Audeze LCD-3 in terms of both liquidity and resolution, while a Zodiak Platinum DSD DAC with Voltikus Power Supply will deliver more for the more august enthusiast. (€3,265.00).

The Dragonfly is now available in a 1.2 revision for $150 USD, and it's about right for a USB DAC.
