Neolith - The Red Cable

We're saddened to post a photo of the Neolith by Martin Logan, but we'll mention it, since we posted the KingRex instead.

Specification wise, there is nothing wrong with the Neolith. We just prefer the look of the Monolith, particularly, as we do the other, current models in Martin Logan's production run.

We wonder why cosmetically it looks like it does, although we can see reasons for some of its technical features - at least the bracing, which is usable. The look of the woofer cabinet, however is ludicrous, although fans of that said-same rapper may find the Neolith's bass to their taste.

Those of you that can find a Summit X (in Bubinaga and shiny aluminum - a lost option) may find the bass and resolution satisfactory. Those of you in a small apartment with neighbour concerns may find the Motion 60 XT quite satisfactory enough.

For their Neolith, it looks like Martin Logan took a page out of the book of Legacy Audio, and went with an Aeris design. We laud them for this bold approach (look at the V, and Aussie copy, upcoming...), however with Gail Sanders and Logan Sutherland as founders we'd expect more of a "Logan's Run" vision to their legacy.
