The Marten Django XL is a good speaker, but is it one that you'd like to own? Com positionally, it looks liek the Boston Acoustics M350, with better drivers. It sits a little squat, and you wonder if you're getting the same speaker as the Duke 2 (with the matching sub), or the Getz 2, for that matter. Compositionally, those guys are elegant loudspeakers.
Django was a gypsy. That's a wandering Indian tribe composed of both roms and rams, much like computers.
We can forgive him for smoking, or wearing Houndstooth, but Herringbone: it's a bit too close to home. A bit like our Canelli overcoat, and looks a little too worn - you can see the threads of fabric on the shoulder-line coming up, and the shoulders themselves, a little worn.
Perhaps we'd rather see him historiographically altered to be wearing a camel's hair coloured cashmere dinner jacket in this photo The mustache, hair, eyebrows and penchant expression give him a nice look - take the cigarette away, and we'd see a happy guy.
You wouldn't exactly say that he was an XL, would you?
