The MB&F HM6 has to be one of the ugliest items we have noticed to date. Next to the Parmigiani Bughatti Super Sport, it helps define what illustrates Haute Horology share with high fidelity, illustratively. In other words, what seems fine to watch geeks (Watchtime - great magazine!) and fans of Hodinke, seems ridiculous to the rest of us. Sort of like the Lawrence Dickie Vivid Audio Giya G1 loudspeaker. It is unattractive in the same manner the MB&F HM6 is unattractive.
After reading the Wes Philips' Stereophile Review, about the dented mid-range, how could we even think of having the thing?
There is something to the rationality of the individual that may make it seem like insanity to society due to the reverse reciprocal relationship between individual insight and direction of each.
To the self-guided individual who finds the MB&F HM6 attractive, there is nothing wrong with them choosing and using it. To us, it seems ridiculous. That's that.
