Where's the Hump?
Those like us, who had a Sony TA-N2000ESD (we ran a service, EDS), will be familiar with parametric equalization in the digital domain.
With only three (3) bands, it was possible to come up with selection (frequency roll-off) graphs, similar to the following. Any drummer that's ever had a Sure SM57/58 will be formant-familiar with the Polar Response graphs, to the right.
