Subwoofer

If you want a sub-woofer, then a few options are only possible. A woofer should extend to 20 Hz, although 30 is more common, typically, for hi-res speaker. 16 Hz is a nice bottom, like a Velodyne.

1.
Eminent Technologies TRW-17. 1 Hz to 20 Hz +/- 3 dB. 1 Hz to 32 Hz +/- 5 dB.

TRW-17 transducer $12,900.00
Motor Controller $450.00
BT-42 Amplifier and crossover $1050.00
Design and installation, typical $8,000-$12,000

Total $21,950-$25,950 USD

Should you wish to date a 17-year old,
your costs may be similar, APR.*

2. Wilson Bensch Torus. 10 Hz to 150 Hz. -10 dB at 18 Hz.

3. Velodyne F1500R. We've had one, although our friend had 5. Good for unison. Can't fault the bass. Gave it away. Try the 1812.

4. Rey Audio RIS-1C. 105dBSPL@9Hz. And only 300 lbs. Only requires a standard $300 Olympic weight set to lift, set and place.

* 28K should cover three low-cost dates, per week. This gives you four days, to enjoy your friends. To date someone older, you would want about $50K a day. They would want the same things you do.
