Cherry 2000 (1987) is an interesting movie. The female protagonist, E. (Edith) Johnson (Melany Griffith) is given the look of a Blade Runner (1982) replicant, Pris (Daryl Hannah), while the robot, Cherry 2000, is made rather human, thanks to Pamela Gidley of Kiss and Tell.
